9-12-2013 – Kurdpress – The two-day meeting of the Syrian Kurdish Patriotic Council was ended today in Kurdish city of Qamishlo.
Speaking to Kurdpress, a leader of the council, Faisal Yusuf, said the Kurdish body will send a letter to Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani and will aware him of the disputes between the council and the Syria pro-Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD). He further added the next gathering of the council will decide on annulling Erbil Agreement between Syria Kurdish parties, a decision that will bring an end to the biggest Kurdish body in the war-torn country.
ISIS targets Syrian Kurds
9-12-2013 – Syrian Observatory for Human Rights ISIS continues attacks on Syrian Kurds Aleppo province: Confirmed reports that the ISIS have forcefully taken over the homes of Syrian Kurdish civilians by the Ba’idin roundabout in Aleppo city and have turned them into ISIS bases. A member of the peace and reconciliation committee in Raqqah city was tortured to death after several days of being detained by the ISIS, he was originally from the Kobani area. The ISIS also kidnapped 11 Syrian Kurdish civilians from Jarables city, the kidnapped include 2 women. On the 2nd 3rd and 4th of December the ISIS kidnapped 51 Syrian Kurdish civilians from Manbej city, including 2 children and 8 women; they have only released 5 of the captives so far. KNC-Members Arrested in Turkey?
Turkey arrested four leaders of the KNC in Nusaybin reports/claims/alleges Welati. They were in KNC-meeting before, and were going to Kobani through Turkey (since Tel Ebyad is under Al Qaida control).

Among other things Abbas spoke about the current bargaining over Rojava, the relationship between Turkey and KRG, and the effect that Western intervention in Syria will have on the PYD. The Directorate of Sulaymaniyah Security ” Asaish ” announced recently that their information refers the enrollment of 63 young residents of Kurdistan Region to the ranks of al-Qaeda -linked groups to fight the forces of the Syrian regime .
Since the intensification of the civil war in Syria, reports talked about enrollment of young Kurdish people from Kurdistan Region in Nusrah Front and State of Iraq and al-Sham organization linked to al Qaeda to fight the Syrian government.
Last month, a family had conducted a funeral to their son in Khurmal sub-district of Halabja, who died in Syria during fighting in Nusrah front ranks associated with al-Qaeda.
Bringing the death toll of young Kurds from Kurdistan Region to eight, seven of them were from Halabja and another one from Kifri district, which reveals the size of the worsening sectarian polarization in the region .
These developments come after about a week of Kurdistan Regional Government’s decision to form a committee to address the involvement of its citizens in the Syrian war.
The Ministry of Endowment in Kurdistan region has ordered imams and preachers in the region, calling them to advise young people not to go to any place under the name of “jihad”.

Car Bomb Targets Baath Regime in Kurdish city of Qamishli
BEIRUT – 6-12-2013 – A car bomb detonated Friday morning in the Kurdish-populated northern Syrian town of Qamishli.
The suicide bombing left at least 6 people dead and 10 others injured, Al-Mayadeen network reported. Meanwhile, Russia Today said that the car bomb hit near a base for the pro-Syrian regime National Defense Force militia.
