The commander of 10000 Peshmerga forces of Kurdistan Region in Shingal, a city in the north of Iraq and under the control of the Kurdish region, warned that his fighters will fight out the forces of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) and its affiliated groups from the city if the U.S. does not intervene to make the forces leave the city.

According to MacCefry, the chief of the Institute of International and Regional Studies in the American University of Sulaimaniya has warned that war between the forces that are providing the security of Shingal is threatening the city.

According to the report of the expert released on the website of War On The Rock the fragile structure of Yazidi society is being broken as rivalries are getting more inimical.

Local leaders told me earlier this month that for the first time they expected clashes between their sides. Farhad Atrushi, Dohuk Governor and a member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), old me that they will not allow the PKK in “our cities and to occupy governmental buildings,” and Qasim Shesho, a member of the KDP and the commander of 10000 “unofficial” powerful Yazidi Peshmerga forces in Shingal was more frank by saying that “if the U.S. does not intervene we will fight against (Shingal Defense Forces (YBS) and its supporters inside the PKK, the report said.YBS hold the same outlook as its commander in Khanasor, Heval Serhed, underlined that “if they (KDP forces) do not leave here we will make them to do it. We will fight them not only here but also elsewhere.”
