BRUSSELS, 3 April 2016 – The European Union (EU) is urging Turkey to restart the peace process with the Kurds after an attack in the south-eastern Kurdish city of Diyarbakir in Turkish Kurdistan killed at least seven police officers. “Turkey should re-engage in [the] Kurdish peace process, which brought so many positive and promising results in the recent past,” a statement from EU foreign affairs representative Federica Mogherini said Saturday. (02/001) Curfew in Cizre… The curfew in Cizre district of Şırnak reached its 52nd day as of 2 January 2016.
On 1 February 2016, bodies of 4 males and 1 female were found in 2 separate houses on Reyhan street in Cudi quarter. The persons were not identified and the bodies were taken to Şırnak State Hospital for forensic examination. Another body was reportedly found on 2 January 2016 on Gülüşük street.
(02/002) Attacks against Curfew Protests…
The police intervened a group of persons who staged a protest on 1 February 2016 in Dağlıoğlu quarter of Adana. Murat Daşkan (19) was shot to death during the armed clash that broke out after the intervention. Eyewitnesses testified to the effect that the police followed Murat Daşkan to a blind street and allegedly shot him to death.

Unhappy officials have commented to US outlets about Obama’s rejection of proposals, made by Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and CIA Director David Petraeus, for no-fly zones in 2012. The following year, the President stepped back from any response to the Assad regime’s chemical weapons attacks near Damascus that killed more than 1,400 people.Obama responded to the critics last month in extended comments in The Atlantic magazine in which he said he was “very proud” that he had defied “the overwhelming weight of conventional wisdom and the machinery of our national-security apparatus”. Es soll zuvor im Donbass im Einsatz gewesen sein – und sogar auf einem Übungsplatz der Armee in der südwestrussischen Region Krasnodar trainieren. Das Sankt Petersburger Internetportal Fontanka.ru berichtete, rund 400 Söldner des Unternehmens kämpften derzeit in Syrien, Dutzende seien schon gefallen, so Anfang Februar ein Major der Reserve der Streitkräfte des Innenministeriums. Der aufflammende Konflikt zwischen Arabern und PKK/PYD Kurden in Syrien / AL SHARQ
3 April 2016 – Außerhalb des Fokus der internationalen Berichterstattung, wächst im Norden Syriens die Gefahr eines ethnischen Konflikts zwischen Arabern und Kurden. MESOP TÜRKEI Demokratisches Türkeiforum – Verschärfte Strafprozessrechtsänderungen nicht verfassungswidrig
Das Verfassungsgericht der Republik Türkei Verfassungsgericht hat in einer Entscheidung vom 23.12.2015 (E. 2014/195, K. 2015/116, Resmi Gazete 29.1.2016 – 29608) Gesetzesänderungen, die Durchsuchungen von Verdächtigen sowie deren Wohnungen und Arbeitsplätzen erleichtern, und das Recht auf Akteneinsicht für Verdächtige einschränken, als verfassungskonform aufrechterhalten. Juristen hatten die Änderungen als verfassungswidrig und Einfallstor für willkürliche Durchsuchungen und Beschränkungen von Rechten Angeklagter kritisiert.
