Ein interessantes Projekt nimmt im Ostend Gestalt an. Dort realisiert der (exclusiv-teure) Frankfurter Projektentwickler Lang & Cie auf dem ehemaligen Raab-Karcher-Gelände an der Hanauer Landstraße einen ganzen Campus: Unter den ersten sechs Gebäuden des „Lindley Quartiers” sind zwei Hotels (Moxy und Lindenberg) sowie vier Bürohäuser. In einem wird die Stiftung Medico International ihren Verwaltungssitz einrichten (direkt vis á vis vom Draghi Turm der EZB) , aber auch für andere Hilfsorganisationen ist unter ihrem Dach Platz.
„Wir wollen, dass unsere Mittel langfristig wirken”, sagt Geschäftsführer Thomas Gebauer. Die ersten Bauanträge sind eingereicht.

Denn nicht alles Geld von medico geht an die Armen, sondern ist sorgsam auch in einer nebenher assoziierten „medico Stiftung“ etabliert, die nun in einem der teuersten Boom-Viertel Frankfurt ein neues spekulatives Ertragsobjekt auf den Markt bringen will.
Nichts ist eben sicherer in Krisenzeiten als Krisenorganisationen: bei Niedrigzinsen die eigenen Millionen nachhaltig und gewinnträchtig anlegen!

Gericht entscheidet – Richter verbietet Sohn den Kirchenbesuch – weil seine Mutter Muslima ist
Montag, 28.03.2016, 09:30 FOCUS – Es ist ein skurriles Verfahren mit einer möglicherweise historischen Dimension: Ein britisches Gericht hat einem Vater verboten, seinen Sohn mit in eine christliche Kirche zu nehmen. Die von ihm getrennte Mutter des Kindes hatte dagegen geklagt, weil sie ihm den Islam näher bringen wollte.
Eigentlich beginnt die Geschichte deutlich früher,berichtet die “Daily Mail”: Nachdem der Vater der Frau gestorben war, entwickelte sich diese zur tiefgläubigen Muslima. Ihre Mutter hatte ihr erzählt, dass sie ihren Vater nur so vor Höllenqualen retten könne.
Das missfiel der mittlerweile tiefgläubigen Muslima
Kurz zuvor hatten sich die Frau und der Vater des Jungen, der nun nicht mehr in eine christliche Kirche darf, getrennt. Daraufhin suchte der Brite mit pakistanischenEltern Trost bei einer christlichen Gemeinde. Zu dieser wollte er auch seinen Sohn mitnehmen, um ihm die religiöse Vielfalt näher zu bringen – das wiederum missfiel der mittlerweile tiefgläubigen Muslima.
Der Streit der getrennten Eltern landete vor dem Gericht, das entschied, dem neunjährigen Sohn den Zutritt zur Kirche zu verwehren. Der Vater warnte davor, dass seine Ex-Frau den Jungen beeinflusse und sein Gehirn wasche.
