The three steps to how antisemitism stopped being taken seriously
- Let’s make Antisemitism is its own category of racism; so we will say “racism and antisemitism” that will strengthen our campaign against antisemitism
- Let’s say criticism of Israel is often antisemitism, that way we can shield Israel from unfair critique and double standards.
- Trump is antisemitic, Corbyn is antisemitic, Putin is antisemitic, Obama’s is antisemitic, Netanyahu is antisemitic, etc; then let’s compare everything to Nazism also so basically many people will be accused of antisemitism at some point and even Holocaust denial in some cases(for minor things like bad phrasing of commemorating Holocaust Memorial Day), on both sides of the political aisle and we let’s politicize these claims to score political points rather than have a more cautious and concise definition of antisemitism; let’s exaggerate accusations of antisemitism against numerous political leaders for short term talking points without thinking about the consequences or responsibility, because the easy to write a clickbait headline, it’s harder to take it back.
