“We are publishing the text of all Russia-US deals on Syria and are calling on Washington to do the same, including making public the mandate of the Joint Implementation Center on coordination of anti-terrorist air strikes in Syria,” the ministry said in a statement published on its website. By Sefer Levent – hurriyetdailynews.com – 2016-09-29 05:18 GMT – The Housing Development Administration of Turkey (TOKİ) has undertaken the construction of the remaining 700 kilometers of the wall being built on Turkey’s border with war-torn Syria, after the construction of the initial 200-kilometer-long concrete wall on the border was completed jointly by the Defense Ministry and neighboring provinces governor’s offices. After completing the tender process for a 200-kilometer-long section of the to-be built wall and preparing works for the remaining section, TOKİ was expecting to finish the “security wall” in five months, its head, Ergün Turan, said. Als am Montagabend im Berliner Redaktionsgebäude der F.A.Z. zum zweiten Mal der Frank-Schirrmacher-Preis verliehen wurde, diesmal an den französischen Schriftsteller Michel Houellebecq, war von Houellebecq zunächst gar nichts zu sehen. In der ersten Reihe vor dem Rednerpult saßen Rebecca Casati, die Witwe des vor zwei Jahren verstorbenen Herausgebers dieser Zeitung, und Ulla Unseld-Berkéwicz. Es saßen dort jene, die den Schirrmacher-Preis ins Leben gerufen haben, Martin Meyer, Michael A. Gotthelf, Matthias Döpfner und Marco Solari. Und, zusammen mit seiner Frau Andrea Sawatzki, der Schauspieler Christian Berkel, der an diesem Abend mit undramatisch schönem Ernst Texte von Frank Schirrmacher vortragen sollte.
