March 2 was another day of hard fighting in south Mosul. The Islamic State took advantage of a rainstorm to attackthe Golden Division. Some fighters were hiding amongst displaced families to approach the frontlines before revealing themselves. The Golden Division is currently trying to secure the Wadi Hajar neighborhood. Reporting has been very inconsistent on how far they’ve gotten. On February 28 the district was unofficially declared freed, then said to be 80% under control on March 1, and then just 70% on March 3. PKK Supporters Storm KRG Representation Office in Brussels
Basnews English – 04/03/2017 – 18:07 – ERBIL — Following the military confrontations between the Kurdish Peshmerga and forces of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) on Friday, the PKK supporters stormed the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) representation office in Brussels, Belgium.
Dilawar Azhgay, the KRG envoy to the European Union (EU), stated that the PKK supporters in Brussels organized a demonstration without notifying the KRG representation or the city’s police.
Azhgay said the number of demonstrators is estimated to be 20-25, arguing that their chants were not in the interest of peace and unity among the Kurds, but rather provocative. He added that the police have said they would investigate into those demonstrations and inform the KRG representation office about the case. www.mesop.de

07/01/2017 : GULAN MEDIA – SULAYMANIYAH — The Change Movement (Gorran) is reportedly working to establish its own armed forces for which it is closely working with former Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki and Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK), a source said.

Debatte um Auftrittsverbote – „Man sollte Erdogans Minister ruhig auftreten lassen“ (FAZ 4 3.32017). heute großer Meinungsumschwung in banger Sorge, von CDU bis Martin Glasenapp medico international, nachdem auch die pro PKK Partei HDP pro Erdogan in diesem Fall Kritik an der Bundesregierung geübt habt – und warum ?
Wir haben Doppelstaatsbürgerpässe, einen dauerhaft für die Heimat, einen für die Kolonie, denn Türke bleibt immer Türke & Kurde immer Kurde – Anton Negris behauptete Hybridisierung ist nirgends zu beobachten und bleibt ideologisches Konstrukt.
Daher nun auch das dauerhaft fundierte Doppelrecht: hüben wie drüben Wahlkampf machen zu dürfen, was so gesehen unter den gegebenen Umständen nur logisch ist. Auch Abdullah APO Oecalan soll hier per Video auf Großbildschirmen Wahlkämpfen dürfen und Osman Baydemir von der HDP ebenso.
