MESOP PRESSCONFERENCE : LIFTING IMMUNITY OF KURDISH PARLAMENTARIANS IN TURKEY
INVITATION
NORTH KURDISTAN (TURKEY) – As you might know, the European Parliament will have a debate during the plenary session on collective lifting of the immunity of 138 parliamentarians of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on Wednesday afternoon. Recently passed law on lifting of the immunities particularly targets the members of the Peoples’ Democratic Party – HDP.
Taking the opportunity of this debate, we invite you all to attend the press conference during which the initiative of
“Deputies protect deputies: Appeal to become a sponsor of HDP Deputies”
will be launched. The press conference will be held on Wednesday morning at 9:30 am in the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
