MENA WATCH : KILLING PKK KURDS IN NORTH IRAQ
18.9.2021 – A senior PKK member, Yasin Bulut, was shot dead in the middle of a street in Sulaimania in Iraqi Kurdistan this morning. Bulut is said to be there for medical treatment. This is a new, dangerous escalation by Turkish intelligence similar to the Iranian assassinations in KRI.
I was only 50m away from crime scene. 4 shots then I saw a men around 30years old with a black outfit running away. Police came after 45minutes
Another Kurd who is Turkish national and owns a shop in Sulaimania was shot injured yesterday. In addition to increase of airstrikes in the PUK zone in eastern KRI. People are right to question if the changes within PUK have paved the way for increased Turkish activities there!
