Below is the text of a Communique issued following the London 11 Meeting held in London, United Kingdom, on October 22, 2013.
1. The Friends of Syria Core Group of countries – the ‘London 11’ – unanimously welcome the agreement by the UN Security Council on 27 September on the urgent need for political transition and its endorsement of the Geneva communiqué, the objective of which is the formation by mutual consent of a Transitional Governing Body (TGB) with full executive powers, including over security, military and intelligence structures.

Erster NAZI Antikriegstag in Dortmund: Solidarität mit Assad!
07. September 2013 -Anlässlich des ersten rechten Antikriegstages, der vom Bundesvorstand der Partei DIE RECHTE angemeldet wurde, demonstrierten rund 55 nationale Aktivisten am Samstag (7. September 2013) vom Dortmunder Hauptbahnhof bis zum Sonnenplatz im Kreuzviertel. Im Vorfeld hatte es bis zum Veranstaltungstag bewusst keine öffentliche Mobilisierung zur Demonstration gegeben, zumal das Hauptaugenmerk der lokalen Kräfte auf der Demonstration gegen Organisationsverbote am 31. August 2013lag, die in der vergangenen Woche erfolgreich mit bis zu 450 Teilnehmern durchgeführt wurde.

Andrei Stenin – 22/10/2013 – TEL AVIV – Die israelischen Geheimdienste haben den Verdacht geäußert, dass sich die chemischen Waffen in Syrien weiterhin in den Händen der Regierungskräfte befinden. Wie RIA Novosti am Dienstag von einem ranghohen Armeeoffizier inoffiziell erfuhr, liegen Israel keine Angaben darüber vor, dass die C-Waffen im Chaos des Bürgerkrieges an die mit Assad verbündete libanesische Bewegung Hisbollah weitergegeben oder von der bewaffneten Opposition erbeutet wurden.

Syria Spotlight: “Regime Attempted Ground Invasion Of Moadamiyyah Via Humanitarian Route”
EAworldview – 22-10.2013 – By Joanna Paraszczuk – Civilians in the besieged town of Moadamiyyat Ash Sham, near Damascus, say that President Assad’s forces tried to invade the town on Saturday, using a route previously given to the Syrian Red Crescent to evacuate civilians. The regime has tried to overrun the opposition-controlled town, located near key regime military installations, housing and bases, for more than a year. The town was the target of one of the August 21 chemical weapons attacks and has been under a regime-imposed siege since November 2012, with Assad’s forces preventing food and medical aid from reaching civilians. Recently, the regime turned off the town’s water supply.

Während das iranische Regime mittlerweile dazu übergegangen ist, in größerem Umfang Söldner aus Afghanistan für den Einsatz in Syrien anzuwerben, bleibt die Unterstützung europäischer Faschisten für das Regime Bashar al-Assads bisher weitgehend unbeachtet. Im August erzählte der griechische Neonazi Stavros Libovisis der rechten griechischen Zeitschrift Dimokratia von der Beteiligung Dutzender bewaffneter Kämpfer seiner Gruppe Mavros Krinos am syrischen Bürgerkrieg. Seine »Kameraden« seien teilweise schon seit zwei Jahren in Syrien und hätten unter anderem mit Kämpfern der Hizbollah an den Gefechten um Al-Qasar teilgenommen. Die Gruppe Mavros Krinos ist Angaben eines Mitglieds zufolge Teil der »European Solidarity Front for Syria« (ESFS), die seit Anfang dieses Jahres öffentlich aktiv ist. Nach kleineren Kundgebungen fand im Juni der erste europaweite Kongress der ESFS in Rom statt, an dem faschistische Gruppen und Netzwerke aus Polen, Tschechien, Griechenland, Frankreich, den Niederlanden, Finnland, Schweden, Slowenien, Spanien, der Türkei, Belgien und Rumänien teilnahmen. Hauptorganisator des Treffens war die italienische Gruppe Casa Pound, die seit über zehn Jahren relativ erfolgreich ihre Politik des »modernisierten Faschismus« praktiziert. Ihre Kader hielten auch schon Vorträge vor »Autonomen Nationalisten« und NPD-Gruppen in Deutschland. Der zweite Kongress des faschistischen Netzwerkes fand am 15. Oktober in Rom statt.
Despite Nobel Prize, Full Removal of Syria’s Chemical Weapons Unlikely

The first reports emerging from the effort to relieve the Assad regime of its chemical weapons capacity suggest that the regime is cooperating with the inspectors from the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The latter organization has been tasked by the United Nations with overseeing the process of destroying Assad’s CW capability.
