Sputnik Russia 29.07.2018(aktualisiert 14:35 29.07.2018) – Der türkische Präsident Recep Tayyip Erdogan hat gegenüber der Zeitung „Haberturk“ den USA mit dem internationalen Schiedsgericht gedroht, falls Washington keine F-35-Kampfjets an Ankara liefern sollte. Im Streit über den US-Pastor Andrew Brunson hat Erdogan sich unnachgiebig gezeigt und den USA „psychologischen Krieg“ vorgeworfen.
Zuvor hatte die Zeitung „The Washington Times“ berichtet, der US-Kongress habe die Lieferung von F-35-Kampfjets an die Türkei auf Eis gelegt. Der Grund dafür sei die von Ankara bekundete Absicht, Raketenabwehrkomplexe S-400 „Triumph“ aus russischer Produktion zu kaufen.
„Jetzt begannen sie, aus irgendwelchem Grund uns zu drohen. Was gab es dort? Dass sie uns F-35 nicht geben können. Wenn Sie nicht geben, da gibt es internationales Schiedsgericht, wir werden uns ans internationale Schiedsgericht wenden <…> Wenn es dazu kommt, dann gibt es Alternativen“, sagte Erdogan.

Der türkische Präsident Recep Tayyip Erdogan reist einem Zeitungsbericht zufolge voraussichtlich im September zu einem Staatsbesuch nach Berlin. Über das genaue Datum werde noch verhandelt, berichtete die „Bild“-Zeitung in einer Vorabmeldung unter Berufung auf deutsche und türkische Regierungskreise.

Other US citizens and FSNs Syria and YPG Halkbank fine S-400s Iran trade #Brunson case would have been the easy one to solve. I suspect #Erdogan didn’t do so because he thought it would weaken him on these other issues. But failing to do so means everything else gets harder

NORTH KURDISTAN (TURKEY) – Germany lifts restriction on export guarantees for Turkey
DAILY SABAH ISTANBUL – 23 July 2018 – Germany has lifted the restriction on export and investment guarantees for German companies doing business with Turkey, while the country has also softened its travel warning to the country. In September last year, the German government capped the amount of the Hermes export guarantees it provides for trade with Turkey at 1.5 billion euros. According to a report in German newspapers Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), the German government has decided not to renew its limit on export guarantees to Turkey. The same information was later confirmed to AFP by Germany’s economy ministry.

Doch für den Vorsitzenden des Dachverbandes der Grauen Wölfe in Europa bedeutete das Treffen auf höchster Ebene eine nicht alltägliche Ehre. Seine Organisation (Avrupa Türk Konfederasyon) wird von deutschen Verfassungsschutzbehörden des Bundes und der Länder als extremistisch eingestuft und steht unter Beobachtung.
Çetin war als frisch gewählter türkischer Parlamentsabgeordneter der Partei der Nationalistischen Bewegung (MHP) Mitglied von Recep Tayyip Erdoğans Delegation in Brüssel. Dass der Abgeordnete der Mutterpartei der Grauen Wölfe mit Erdoğan reist, wurde vorab in türkischen Medien verbreitet. Das Kanzleramt konnte also wissen, wen die Kanzlerin erwartet.

Turkey’s erratic relations with Israel seemed to be on the upswing again amid news that Israeli authorities freed a Turkish woman charged with smuggling goods to a terrorist group and allowed her to return home on July 16.
