 Ocalan to Erdoğan: They will lock you up just like Morsi

20.01.2014 – Hawar Abdulrazaq – BasNews, Diyarbakir: The co-chair of Turkey’s pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) Salahattin Demirtas, has revealed that jailed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) leader Abdullah Ocalan has warned Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

In an Interview with Kurdish newspaper Kurdistani nwe, Demirtas said that Ocalan had in the past warned the Turkish PM against giving up on the peace process between the Turkish state and the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK).

“If the democratization process does not move more quickly, the more organized countries in the region will act and put you in prison, just like Morsi,” Ocalan reportedly said to Erdoğan.  Turkey and Erdoğan have supported jailed Egyptian leader Muhammed Morsi, following his removal by the Egyptian army and the banning of the Muslim Brotherhood. http://www.basnews.com/en/News/Details/Ocalan-to-Erdogan–They-will-lock-you-up-just-like-Morsi/10851
