Syria revolution needs solving Kurds problem: Ahmad Jabra

Kurdpress – 17.7.2013 – The newly- elected leader of Syria National Council (SNC), Ahmad Asi al-Jabra, said Finding a solution to Syria developments needs bringing an end to Syria Kurdish problem.

Speaking with Rudaw, Jabra, the leader of Syria main opposition body said: “Syria Kurds issue is one of the most important problems of the country and there would be no development in Syria revolution until the Kurds problem is ended.”

He further said he would try to meet a group of Kurdish oppositions in Cairo and receive their green light to join Syria oppositions. Jabra also underlined the role of Kurdistan Region president Massoud Barzani and said he would personally visit Erbil next month to discuss the situation with Barzani. “Barzani’s role is national and I will sure visit Erbil next month to hear his ideas. I will also visit Syria refugee’s camp in Iraqi Kurdistan Region,” he said. Jabra did not set any date for meeting Kurdish parties.
