Syria opposition denies requests by Kurds National Council
Kurdpress – 18.9.2013 – The Syrian biggest opposition body, Syria National Council (SNC) denied on Monday two request of the newly joined Syria Kurds National Council (KNC).
Some of the officials are unfortunately under the impact of Arab chauvinism and could put a negative impact on our latest agreement, a member of the Kurdish council Behzad Ibrahim told Kurdpress.“We wanted the member of the Kurds in the opposition body increase to 11 and al- Party’s (a Kurdish Party) Leader Abulhakim Bashar be appointed as the coalition’s deputy chief but both of them were denied,” he further said. Ibrahim further added the members of the Kurdish council will visit Istanbul to finalize their former agreement with the Syrian opposition coalition.
