PYD blames Abdulhakim Bashar remarks on Geneva meeting
WHO WILL BE PUTIN’S FAVORITE DARLING ?
23.6.2013 – Kurdpress – The Syrian Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) blamed the leader of al- Party Abdulhakim Bashar who opposed the presence of Syria Kurds in Geneva II meeting.
The meeting is due to be held in Geneva for the second time to discuss the future of Syria and drive the country out of its devastating civil war.
“Mr. Abdulhakim Bashar’s comments and his opposition to the presence of the Kurds in Geneva II meeting is illogical. His demand for sending a group of national council representative is unacceptable as Kurds National Council (KNC) is the legitimate representatives of the Kurds,” Zohat Kobani, a leader of PYD told Kurdpress, adding that Bashar deputy Saud Malla has met and discussed Syria conflict with Russia foreign ministry officials and signed an accord that the KNC would attend in Geneva II meeting. The source added PYD co- leader Saleh Muslim was officially invited to Cairo and discussed Geneva II in detail. He added they cannot reveal the content of the agreement but stressed the meeting would be on June 25.
