MESOP Syria Daily: Ceasefire Shaken by Regime-Russian Attacks / PUTIN GOT “GREEN LIGHT”

February 29 – by Scott Lucas – eaworldview – UPDATE 0915 GMT: Assad forces are trying to break into Hirbnafsah village in northern Homs Province, supported by heavy artillery and Russian air cover, according to activists and rebels.Rebels claims that more than 300 shells have been fired into the village since the weekend. They said ground attacks were repelled on Sunday.UPDATE 0715 GMT: Unconfirmed reports are circulating of regime rockets, barrel bombs, and artillery fire on al-Marj in the East Ghouta area near Damascus. Activists says the al-Marj hospital, serving 55,000 people, has been knocked out of service by barrel-bombing. MESOP INSIGHT NEWS : Task Force to Meet to Discuss Syria Ceasefire Violations

A ceasefire among many of the warring parties in Syria’s civil war largely held through the weekend. A number of violations have been reported, but the United Nations announced today that it is confident enough in the security situation to dispatch humanitarian aid convoys to six towns this week. An international task force will meet this afternoon to discuss reported breaches of the agreement. “We need to get an explanation from the Russians on the strikes that took place on Sunday,” one Western diplomat told Reuters, discussing the resumption of Russian airstrikes on Sunday after a one-day suspension of its air campaign. The Syrian opposition High Negotiations Committee has submitted a letter in which it notes that violations occurred “here and there,” but that said that, with the easing of violence over the weekend, it was “positive to see people getting relief…to be safe, and free from fear.” U.N.-backed peace talks between the parties to the conflict are set to resume on March: www.mesop.de

AMMAN: Residents of western Aleppo’s Atareb have “no confidence” in the ongoing ceasefire, a local citizen journalist told Syria Direct on Monday, one day after dozens of demonstrators in the opposition-held town called for Jabhat a-Nusra fighters to “get out” in order to avoid attracting regime and Russian bombardment. While residents want Jabhat a-Nusra out, Atareb residents are uncertain that the group’s exit would be enough to save them from future bombardment. “There is no confidence, not in the regime nor in the Russians, especially because the ceasefire has been broken since its first day,” Atareb citizen journalist Abdelrahman Abdelrahman told Syria Direct. At the same time, the UAE has announced a drawdown of diplomatic staff at its embassy in Beirut. Die deutsche Friedensbewegung schweigt zu den russischen Bombardements in Syrien. Militärinterventionen lehnt sie nur dann ab, wenn sie von Nato-Staaten geführt werden.

Harte Zeiten sind das, in denen man selbst einem Kommisskopf wie Klaus Naumann zustimmen muss. »Hätten amerikanische Flugzeuge in irgendeinem Konflikt der letzten Zeit so bombardiert wie die Russen in Aleppo, dann möchte ich das Geheule der deutschen amerikakritischen Öffentlichkeit hören und das Geschrei unserer Friedensbewegung, die mal wieder die Schnauze hält«, sagte der frühere Nato-General kürzlich in einem Interview mit dem »Deutschlandfunk«. Und hat damit Recht. Denn tatsächlich ist das Schweigen der Friedensfreunde über die russischen Militäreinsätzen zur Unterstützung des syrischen Diktators Bashar al-Assad geradezu ohrenbetäubend. Everybody knows now: Die EU in ist schlechtester Verfassung – politisch, wirtschaftlich und institutionell. Die EZB betreibt verbotene Staatsfinanzierung und ihr Chef Draghi lässt Geld in täglichen 3-Schichten drucken – und doch stellt sich keine erwünschte Inflation ein. Bankencrashs aber sind sicher: nicht nur in Italien, Frankreich, Portugal und Irland. Und nachhaltige Jobs werden letztlich nirgendwo geschaffen.

Da in dieser Lage nicht alle darauf bauen, was die Migrationslobbyisten erzählen, nämlich jenes redundante Mantra : nur Flüchtlinge noch könnten in solcher Situation unsere „Wirtschaft und unsere Renten“ retten – denken einige weiter. Merkel Berater Jörg Asmuss – jetzt für den IWF in neuem Auftrag tätig – oder Ruchir Agarwal auch für den IWF. Gemeinsam mit Kenneth Rogoff und Willem Buiter.

Denn der Crash kommt bestimmt und ein Riesenproblem ist angesichts dessen folgendes: Die Existenz von Bargeld verhindert hohe Negativzinsen. Steigen diese, nehmen die Leute ihr Geld persönlich an sich. Daher muss man jetzt bald den Einstieg wagen, um es abzuschaffen, damit jene, die nicht produktiv wirtschaften, sondern einzig alles mittels Geldpolitik steuern – alles Geld in ihrer Hand haben.

Da das aber zu gewaltigem Protest und einigen politischen Verwerfungen führen dürfte, schlagen einige der genannten den üblichen zeitgemäßen süßen Trick vor: zweierlei Geld! Elektronisches und papiernes. Zum Beispiel könnTen 7 elektronische Euro dann den Kaufwert von 10 Papiergeld Euro haben. Vouchers und Prämien liegen schließlich im Trend. Zahl 7 nimm 10 ! Und alle werden mitmachen, die sonst vielleicht dagegen kämpfen würden. Es gibt nämlich so etwas wie das Gefühl des Wohlseins vor dem Tode.
