Ibrahim Kalin, the Turkish Preserential Spokesperson in a response to president Trump’s tweet that America will devastate Turkey economically if they hit Kurds, said, “it is a fatal mistake to equate Syrian Kurds with the PKK,… and it’s Syria branch PYD/YPG.”

Well, I agree with Mr Kalin that Syrian Kurds doesn’t equate YPG/PKK. But even those parties that YPG/PKK burned down their offices, deported & killed their leaders, have publicly condemned Turkey’s threats to occupy Rojava, and at the same time asked YPG/PKK to stop provoking Turkey.

Kurds in Syria remember very well what happened to Afrin. Even those who were supposedly against PKK/YPG got arrested, punished and prevented from political activities by Turkey’s proxy groups!
