The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, said that today they hosted the Commander of the American Central Forces, General Kenneth McKinsey, and discussed many common issues.
This came in a tweet posted by the commander-in-chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces on Twitter, in which he said: “Today we hosted the Commander of the American Central Forces, General Kenneth McKinsey.
We discussed many common issues between us, the foremost of which was the fight against ISIS and the growing threat of terrorism that threatens our world and the settlement of peace in the region. We highly appreciate the continued support provided by the American forces in the context of combating terrorism and building stability.”
It is noteworthy that the Commander of the American Central Forces, General Kenneth McKinsey, has visited today north and east Syria on an unannounced visit.
On July 7, the Commander of the Russian forces in Syria General Alexander Chayko met Mazloum Abdi and discussed at the time common issues including Turkey’s violations of the October 23rd Agreement and the assassination of the three Kurdish activists in Kobane. Then, Abdi announced that “it was agreed to raise the level of coordination and joint work.”
