Barham Salih warns about “dangerous” situation in Kurdistan Region
21 Jan 2016 – The second deputy leader of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), Barham Salih, warned about the situation in Kurdistan Region of Iraq and demanded fundamental and basic changes and reforms in the autonomous region.
He told a press conference that the situation is experiencing tough days and extensive and basic changes and reforms are needed and the ruling system and the way the regional government and parties are working should change. The former Prime Minister of the region demanded for confidence building an asked the regional government to be responsive to its people, offering the creation of a special committee to monitor the region’s costs and incomes. www.mesop.de
