New Generation ‘Naway Nwê’ political platform announced in Iraqi Kurdistan – Shaswar Abdulwahid, the owner and founder of Nalia Company and NRT TV, one of the biggest media organizations in Iraq’s Kurdistan region, Sulaimani,  –  2007 Shaswar first established his company by the name of Nalia Group. Nalia group working in three fields (Real estate, Tourism and Media) with a capital of 1 billion dollars.

Nalia Group first started as a real estate company, and then expanded and created media channels that are well-recognized in Kurdistan and Iraq. The company first constructed the German Village compound (380 units) in Sulaimani city as the first residence city in the Kurdistan Region. German Village was something new to Kurdistan, as it had a green environment and houses constructed with high standards. After German Villages success, Nalia Group had the ambition of constructing more cities and started building Kurd City I (960 units), followed by Kurd City II compound (624 units). Moreover, after these two cities were built and saw its success, Shaswar started constructing German Village II (424 units) followed by German Village III compound (1202 units). Then Nalia Group continued making the city of Sulaimani more beautiful by building Chavy Land, which is a modern amusement park and it is considered to be the biggest amusement park in Iraq, which has an area of 1,000,000 meters squared.

New Generation ‘Naway Nwê’ political platform announced in Iraqi Kurdistan

SULAIMANI, Iraq’s Kurdistan region,— Nalia Company founder and owner Shaswar Abdulwahid announced on Sunday the New Generation political platform (Naway Nwê) for the future elections in Iraq’s Kurdistan region.Abdulwahid said during a conference on the announcement of the New Generation that the new political platform will include all those who have not participated in the political process.“The New Generation list is not only for some specific people,” Abdulwahid added.

He further said the New Generation aims to change politics in the Kurdistan region because the previous political parties were created through division.“We must think of good governance. Thoughts of war must be ended and attempts must be made to establish peace,” Abdulwahid added. “We will be the voice of those who have been ignored in the Kurdistan Region including those in the other political parties.”

Abdulwahid noted a strong economy should be settled for the Kurdistan region.“This authority has been creating crises for 26 years,” he continued. Regarding the role of women in Kurdish society, Abdulwahid said women should participate in the political process and have high positions. www.mesop.de
