I testified to @HouseForeign yesterday & made clear that pro-#Assad attacks would inevitably seek to probe/test US/#SDF lines… I said strong but defensive airstrikes should follow. Good to see US standing it’s ground; this must continue next time, as there will be a next time.

Wow. U.S. response to pro-regime pre-meditated attack in Deir ez Zour lasted 3hrs & included use of: – AC-130 gunships – F-15s – F-22s – Apache helicopter gunships – Marine Corps artillery = 100+ enemy killed. [via @LucasFoxNews]
