MESOP LATEST – Adem Uzun: My arrest was a conspiracy
ANF – Paris 10.08.2013 – After being released on Friday in Paris Kurdish politician Adem Uzun spoke to ANF.
“We knew from the beginning that it was a conspiracy organized” Uzun said after his release. The Kurdish politician had been arrested on 6 October 2012.The official version of the arrest described Uzun as the political sponsor of an absurd arms trafficking from Paris to Iraqi Kurdistan. “Our meetings were not secret,” added Uzun underlining that during his detention he has asked for an investigation to be carried out into the people who organized the meeting with him. “But they have not been questioned for almost a year,” he complained.
