MESOP FLASH : COUNTER ATTAC OR PKK COUNTERINSURGENCY ?
30 May 2015 – HPG statement; One of our PKK guerrillas (HPG) killed in Rojhelat on 27th May by fighters saying they were PDK-I peshmergas. The 2 man PKK unit were attacked in the morning on the 27th May close to Derelik village in Selmas area in Rojhelat. HPG expects that PDKI carries out a statement clarifying if they had a role in this attack. HPG also says they regard it as a provocation and hope no Kurdistani party is involved and says its possible that Iran behind it.
