Michael Ohanlon, a researcher in the center, told Bloomberg that the U.S. has been entangled in a complicated situation in Syria and Washington does not have any other important military ally except the Kurds. He went on to add that the U.S. is still thinking about defeating the IS, Jabhad al-Nusra and displacing Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
