MESOP : A PORTRAIT OF A MURDER AS A MEMBER OF THE PUK POLITICAL BUREAU

Shafaq News – 28 December 2014 – Shafaq News / A local official in Garmiyan administration in Kurdistanregion revealed on Sunday, the detention of the leader in the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan , Mahmoud Sankawi, while attending to the court based on judicial orders on the backdrop of discrimination sentence from the charge of murdering the journalist , Kawa Garmiyani last year. The source told “Shafaq News”, that “ the investigating judge ordered Sankawi after attending the court today in response to the call that was issued against him”. Mahmoud Sankawi is a member of the political bureau of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan led by former President , Jalal Talabani as he was charged for the murder of journalist , Kawa Garmiyani.

Kawa Garmiyani was killed in front of his home in Kalar town on the sixth of last December by unidentified gunmen who shot fire on him, according to witnesses.
