Kurdish groups and FSA united to fight ISIS

15-3-2014 – MESOP – TWO Kurdish groups and forces of the Free Syria Army (FSA) decided to get united and fight against the extremist forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS) in the recently announced Kurdish canton of Kobani, Hawar News said in a report.

People Defense Units (YPG), affiliated with the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), and Jabhat al-Akrad decided to fight along with FSA forces against the ISIS jihadists, YPG spokesman said. Meanwhile Kobani Canton Prime Minister Anwar Muslim told Kurdpress days ago that the ISIS forces have cut the canton’s electricity and water flow and the problem will remain unsolved until the Kurdish groups and the FSA will be united against the extremists.
