ISIS ARE ALIENS – REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE OF KAFRANBEL (4.1.2014)

BASHAR AL ASSAD : THE INAUGURATION OF A WAR CRIMINAL BY WESTERN PEACENICKS

Assad himself has not made any concessions whatsoever. The regime has continued to drop cluster bombs and incendiary bombs on residential districts and has been systematically starving whole swathes of the country, even while preparing for Geneva II

MESOP OPINION : THE REHABILITATION OF A MASS MURDER / Commentary by Bente Scheller

The Rehabilitation of Assad / By Bente Scheller – Heinrich Boell Foundation

4-1-2014 – Above all, the West wants stability in Syria. Because he has managed to sit out everything that has happened in recent years, the Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad seems to offer this very stability. But accepting the kind of stability Assad offers would mean having to forget the atrocities committed by his regime. – The Syrian regime is becoming socially acceptable once again. In recent weeks, European embassies have already been making overtures towards Damascus. Now, even top-ranking US diplomat Ryan Crocker, former ambassador to Syria, has said that it is necessary to hold talks with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

VOLKER PERTHES : KRIEG „MACH MAL PAUSE!“

(Hier herrscht keine Pause).

“Meanwhile, the SOHR reported this week that more than 73,000 people were killed in Syria in 2013, making it the bloodiest year yet in the Syrian civil war.

The NGO affirmed it had documented the deaths of 73,455 people between January 1, 2013 and December 31, 2013, adding that this figure included the death of 22,436 civilians.”

Source: The UFSS´s Facebook page. -When a group of students staged the first demonstration at the Damascus College of Science in April 2011, they could not imagine that would be the beginning of the future Union of Free Syrian Students (UFSS). The Union, which has played a fundamental role in the Syrian uprising, remains one of the most relevant youth groups developing civil resistance in the country.

The birth of the Union of Free Syrian Students

“At that first demonstration, 50 of us had planned to gather to demand freedom, justice and dignity,” one of the organizers said to Syria Untold. “We were amazed when we saw hundreds of students show up.”

MESOP’S WORT DER WOCHE : Gleiche Brüder / Gleiche Kappen !
