Accusation against Asayish (PYD) by KNC : broke down public demonstration

ARA News – 29-3-2014 – Amude, Syria– The Assayish forces in Darbasiya city broke up on Thursday a demonstration organized by the Local Committee of the Kurdish National Council (KNC). The demonstration was meant to protest the attacks carried out by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) against Kurdish areas near Kobane and Tel Abyad city.

29-03-2014 – ARA News – Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan– Looking for a safe haven, more than 600 Syrian Kurds entered the Iraqi Kurdistan territory through the Simalka border crossing on Thursday. The refugees were then taken by buses to the Pajda Kendala refugee camp in Duhok province, which is allocated for receiving new refugees who will be transferred to other camps in the next few days, according to new procedures introduced by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

Al Monitor – 28.3.2014 – The Tomb of Suleiman Shah, the only sovereign Turkish territory inside Syria. The tomb, put under Turkish custody as stipulated by the 1921 Treaty of Ankara with the French, is on the agenda as a potential pretext for Turkey to mount a cross-border operation into Syria. The case of the video recording of a threat by the Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham [ISIS] was circulated on the Internet. The Internet message said: “We are giving you three days [to evacuate] the soldiers in this tomb which is on the Islamic land of Aleppo. Or, we will raze the tomb.”
