Was die Flucht über die Türkei unattraktiv gemacht hat, ist die Aussicht, in Griechenland stecken zu bleiben (genau jener Zustand wird daher von der Asyl-Lobby bekämpft, die für eine neuerliche Öffnung der Balkanroute regelmäßig Horror-Propaganda über die Lage auf den griechischen Inseln verbreitet).
Trotzdem überweisen wir Erdogan Milliarden, obwohl jene eigentlich Griechenland, den Balkanstaaten und Österreich zustehen würden, da jene Länder in Wahrheit die Aufgaben erledigen, die Merkel an Erdogan übertragen wollte.
Widersprochen werden muss auch der Behauptung, dass die Türkei drei Millionen Syrer versorge. Bei den drei Millionen Syrern handelt es sich um die Migranten, die bis zur Flüchtlingskrise von 2015/2016 in der Türkei registriert wurden, die aber zum größten Teil über die damals offene Balkanroute nach Österreich, Deutschland und Schweden weitergereist sind.
Wir bezahlen Erdogan Milliarden für einen Grenzschutz, der nie von ihm geleistet wurde und für die Versorgung von Flüchtlingen, die wir längst selbst versorgen.
