Government deputies have not met Ocalan for three weeks: brother

Kurdpress 6.3.2014 – Mehmet Ocalan, brother to the jailed leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) Abdullah Ocalan stated government representative have not met his brother in the past three weeks and the peace process negotiations have stopped. – The PKK leader has further warned pro-Kurdish PKK affiliated Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) about the upcoming municipality elections in the country and asked the party to do everything not to lose Sanliurfa Municipality.

Ocalan has reportedly reiterated on the importance of northern Syria Kurdish region developments and said the regions will play an important role in the future of the Middle East. BDP member Osman Baydemir has been announce as the BDP candidate for Sanliurfa, Ocalan’s birthplace and one of the 30 importance cities of Turkey.
