WOMENS RIGHTS REPORT KURDISTAN / 2012

CPT Iraqi Kurdistan has recently finished a report combining the views of fellow activists in the field of Women’s Rights within Iraqi Kurdistan.

The report is titled: “Kurdish Activists’ Observations of Women’s Rights in Iraqi Kurdistan between March 2012 and March 2013 and their hopes for the future. A report concerning the present situation, the positive developments and the areas where change is needed, to secure the safety and equality of women in Iraqi Kurdistan”. CPT feels that this is currently a very important subject and continually works to undo the oppression of sexism within all levels of culture.

CPT asks all to read and share this report. We ask those in positions of authority within Iraqi Kurdistan to act on the information within this report and work for an equal and fair society for all people.
