HIS WILL COUNTS !

22.10.2013 – Kurdpress – The co- Leader of pro- Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party (BDP) Selahattin Demirtas stressed his party will continue peace talks with Ankara government as long as the jailed Leader of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) Abdullah Ocalan wills.

“Our travels to Imrali Island are not a touristic visits and the government should not think it honors us to allow us to go to the island,” the BDP leader said about his party’s different delegations’ meetings with Ocalan in the island, lashing out at Ankara for not permitting him to accompany the last delegation. BDP Deputy Edris Balkuken replaced Demirtas in the last visit. “I asked Balkuken to accompany the delegation since his and the delegation’s denial to travel would end the peace talks,” Demirtas said, answering criticism from the PKK leading officials against the delegation’s visit to Imrali while Demirtas was not allowed to go.
