PUK backs Syrian Kurds’ autonomy / Legend Saadi Pira:
According to the same source, the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) has pushed aside a number of spies, who have been occupying sensitive and high profile posts in the party and in the government. Saadi Ahmadi Pira has been sacked from all his party and government posts and is on his way to Europe. So have Hamidi Haji Khali and Aso Almani.
The Syria Kurds have proved in the past months that they are able to control their own regions and that their own right to have the regions under their control, tow representatives of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) said during a meeting with the Syria pro-Kurdish Democratic Party (PYD) leader Salih Muslim in Austria on Tuesday.
Held in Austrian Kurdish Residents Cultural Center, PUK representatives Saeed Biryani and Omar Ahmad voiced their support to the Kurdish autonomy and noted the autonomy is a good solution to the problem of the Kurds in the country and it can solve the problem of the three Kurdish regions in the north of the war-torn country.
The negotiations between PYD representatives and the delegation of Kurdish Patriotic Council, affiliated with the Kurdistan Region President Massoud Barzani was a fruitful and positive step, Ahmad said, voicing his hope the Iraqi Kurdish region will soon open its Simelka border pass way for the Kurds in Syria.
