Turkey will betray Kurds as did Iran’s Shah : PUK official
MESOP 1.1.2013 – Kurdistan Region- The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Central Council Secretary believes Turkey policy towards Kurds is the same as Iranian former Shah’s policy towards the Kurds.
Talking to Sulaymaniya News Channel, Adel Morad warned about Turkey’s betrayal policies toward Kurds and its interfering polices in Iraq, stressing that the Iraqi Kurds should solve their problems with the central government through dialogue and negotiation. We have to care about Turkey and trapping in its polices, Morad said, referring to Iranian Pahlawi regime policy where Shah banned Kurds from coming to terms with Baghdad and promised them a Kurdish state but later betrayed them and sat at the negotiation table with Iraq.
