Turkey sends no representative to Kurdish National Congress: spokesman
28.8.2013 – Kurdpress – Turkey government and ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) will send no representative to the upcoming Kurdish National Congress in Erbil, government Spokesman Bulent Arinc said.
Our stance towards the congress is quite clear. Neither as Turkey government nor as AKP, we will sent no delegation to the congress, Arinc told HaberTurk TV channel, adding that he does not believe the congress will bring any positive results. The Turkey spokesman remark comes days after sources close to the Kurdish congress revealed a number of AKP Kurdish deputies and politicians have been invited to Erbil to attend in the congress on September 15,16,17.
