contradictio in adiecto Ireland’s EU Presidency Minister Lucinda Creighton Irish Minister of State for European Affairs supported PKK-Turkey talks, improvement of social, economical and cultural rights, but at the same time emphasized the support EU gives to Turkey in counterterrorism effort and the prosecution of PKK (talking about PKK being involved in criminal activities). Probably trying to assure Turkey that EU is against the PKK, after Turkey fiercely criticizsed the EU for not doing enough against the PKK.
