The Syrian Human Rights Committees’s 12th annual report

21-January-2014 – The Syrian Human Rights Committees’s 12th annual report shows a systemic continuation of violations and crimes committed by the Syrian regime since March 2011, as the year 2013 has witnessed an average of one massacre per day, which resulted in 40 thousand deaths, and a 100 thousand injuries, by lowest estimates, using light, heavy, white and even prohibited weapons.

The report shows that  “The international community’s response towards these violations in previous years, which has not gone beyond a few fruitless statements, has been very disappointing and has undermined the efforts of human rights organisations in spreading the culture of human rights.

The Syrian Human Rights Committee has called in its report for the international organisations to increase their efforts in documenting the various violations committed against human rights in Syria
