Kurdish National Congress postponed for an unknown date
The two- time postponed Kurdish National Congress, planned for November 25 in Erbil, the capital of Iraqi northern region of Kurdistan, was deffered once again.
The preparation committee of the congress decided in a Sunday gathering that the meeting is impossible to be held on the planned date. Releasing a statement, the committee’s secretariat apologized to all Kurds and expressed its hope that Kurdish parties bring an end to their rifts. “There is no time plan for a gathering and parties’ disputes hampered agreement,” a member of the committee told Kurdpress yesterday. The committee decided to convene soon.
