Syria Kurds to announce autonomy ahead of Geneva II

30-12-2013 – Kurdpress – The autonomy administration of the Syrian Kurds will be completed in the 7 to 10 days and they plan to announce their autonomy ahead of the upcoming Geneva II.

We are planning to announce our autonomy in the three Kurdish regions of Syria after the solving problems over the way of controlling the regions, a member of Syria Kurds autonomic parliament administration council Abdulkarim Omar was quoted by Hawar news as saying. He added they have taken concrete steps to control the Kurdish region and hope to hold local elections after 6 months. The Kurds are expected to state their autonomy in the three regions of Efrin, Kobani and Cezire.  It is worth mentioning that the northern Kurdish regions of the war-torn country are divided by two Arab cities.
