The Turkish Government has recently begun new negotiations with Abdullah Öcalan in order to find a political and negotiated solution to the Kurdish issue. The talks have unofficially resulted in an informal “roadmap for peace”, so it’s an historical opportunity to reach a comprehensive solution to the conflict. MP Demirtas and MP Gür will provide to MEPs and other participants the BDP assessment and perspective on the so-called “Imrali process”.
