SOUTH KURDISTAN : Change Movement spokesman resigns

Sulaymaniyah – MESOP – 4.10.2012 – The spokesman of Kurdistan Region’s main opposition Change Movement resigns from his post in protest to recent Change Leader’s secret and official meetings with the leaders of ruling parties.

After handing his resignation request to Change Leader Nawshirwan Mustafa, the spokesman Shahoo Saeed said none of the movement’s young members have been consulted about the meetings with the leaders of Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Kurdistan Region co-ruling parties. There were recent reports over rifts among Change officials after Mustafa met both KDP Leader Massoud Barzani and PUK Leader Jalal Talabani.
