102 Kurdish inmates end hunger strike in Van prison

31 Oct – Todays Zaman – A total of 102 out of 120 Kurdish inmates on hunger strike in the Van F-type Prison have ended their weeks-long hunger strike while several hundred more continue their hunger strikes in prisons across Turkey, demanding an end to the isolation of terrorist Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) chief Abdullah Öcalan.

PYD says KNC responsible for clashes with FSA members
