21.8.2013 – Syria pro-Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD) co-leader Salih Muslim said he expected the upcoming Kurdish National Congress make perpetual relations with regional countries and enhance the status of the Kurds in the region.
“The congress is expected to boost ties among Kurdish groups and lines and make rules to allow all groups to express their outlook,” he told Kurdpress, underlining that the congress should pave ways for Kurds to improve their ties with foreign parties and lines. Answering a question about his visit to Turkey, he said his second visit was somehow like the first one and that’s the relation which is of greatest significance at the time. I’d like to revisit Tehran and discuss Syria Kurds situation with Tehran officials, Muslim Said about his visit to Tehran.
The PYD leader predicted the congress will pay special attention to Syrian developments and announce its all-out support to the Kurds in the country.
