Pope to visit Kurdistan Region
24.3.2013 – MESOP – A source from the Ministry of Endowment & Religious Affairs told to media that Pope Franziskus has accepted the invitation of a Kurdish delegation to visit Kurdistan Region. A KRG delegate visited the Vatican and met with the new Pope and invited to Kurdistan. Pope has accepted that invitation and decided to visit the cities of Erbil, Najaf, and Karbala.
