PKK asks Turkey Kurds to go Syria to defend Kobani against ISIS

MESOP 24.3.2014 – The military commander of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) Murat Karayilan asked Turkey Kurds in the Kurdish cities of Suruc and Urfa to go to Syria Kurdish regions and fight against the jihadist forces of the Islamic State of Iraq and Sham (ISIS), Hawar News said.

According to the report the PKK official said recent ISIS attacks on Syria Kurdish regions are attacks against the all Kurds and Kurds from the two cities are needed to go to Syria Kurds regions and fight against the extremist militants. Clashes are continuing between the pro-Kurdish People Defense Units (YPG) and the ISIS members after the jihadists killed nine Kurdish forces in clashes on Saturday.
