MESOPOTAMIA NEWS CANCEL CULTURE : EUROPA ? KULTUR ? ABENDLAND ? GESCHICHTE ?  – DER GANZE WEISSE DRECK MUSS WEG !

V&A Museum & National Trust : Angriff auf Englands Traditionen

MESOPOTAMIA NES : QUEEN MARKLE ! &  DIE PRESSE-ZENSUR

Meghan Markle vs. Piers Morgan : Gute Presse

MESOPOTAMIA NEWS : The Gara Affair: How Not to Rescue Hostages

By Burak BekdilMarch 10, 2021 ISRAEL – BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 1,958, March 10, 2021

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan needed a military success story, and the rescue of 13 hostages held by the PKK in northern Iraq would have fit the bill. Unfortunately, the operation was a tragic failure. Erdoğan now accuses the Kurds, Kurdish political parties, opposition parties, and even the Biden administration of responsibility for the disaster.

The “Gara Affair” will be recalled by both Turks and Kurds as a dark moment in their histories. It entailed a disastrous rescue operation meant to free 13 hostages held by the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) in northern Iraq.

MESOPOTAMIA NEWS : Die Gara-Affäre: Oder wie man Geiseln nicht rettet

Von Burak Bekdil10. März 2021 –  BESA Center Perspectives Paper No. 1,958, 10.

Great power competition is increasingly dominating the way in which US-China relations are analyzed. This prospect is a troubling one in regions around the world as it leads to an unappealing binary choice when complex policy problems require a wider set of options and coordination between global powers.

The Middle East and North Africa (MENA) is one such region, with deep longstanding relations with the United States and growing economic, technological, and development relations with China. This piece summarizes perceptions of China’s growing MENA presence from three vantage points: the US, Israel, and the Gulf monarchies.
