Number of Kurds in Syria opposition council increased to 11
12-11-2013 – Kurdpress – 8 more Syrian Kurdish politicians were allowed in country’s opposition body, increasing the number of the Kurds in the body to 11 persons.
“Fortunately 8 more Kurds from Patriotic Council joined the Syrian opposition council which will therefore increase the role of the Kurds in the body,” the representative of the Kurdish body in Istanbul Behzad Ibrahim told Kurdpress. Ibrahim added a number of Syrian Kurds, including al- Party Leader Abdulhakim Bashar, attended in the Istanbul meeting.
