In February 2017, he was chosen as the head of the delegation of the so-called “Syrian Opposition” in the Geneva talks until 2018, that is, in the talks (4, 5, And 6, 7, 8 and 9) which did not yield any significant results for the Syrian people.

In July 2020, he was elected president of the so-called National Coalition of Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, succeeding Anas al-Abdeh.

Hariri, after starring, moved to Turkey, and formed a delegation that was consistent in its positions with the vision of Moscow and Turkey, which received them to be false witnesses to the bitter demands of the Syrians. He obtained Turkish citizenship after his meeting with Turkey’s Erdogan, and then went to Astana, Geneva and Moscow, where he started with the planning of the coup against the members of the so-called High Negotiations Body, there, Russian and Turkish support and planning began to work on removing a large number of members of the Riyadh delegation.

In an article by Fouad Abdel Aziz, in the Zaman Al Wasel in 2018, under the title ” Is Hariri an Agent”, he explains: “After the Riyadh 2 Conference, and the acceptance by Nasr Hariri to move away from his comrades in Riyadh 1, to be alone in the presidency of the Commission, we all started to feel from that moment the weakness of the opposition, and that this coup was not in the interest of the revolution. What Hariri’s would not accept, except because the international parties studied the nature of this person and chose him alone, after knowing his love for power, then this facilitates the process or even completely ignore it, which appeared immediately after the conclusion of the Sochi conference. ”

‘The Shabih’

Al-Hariri was expelled by a number of young Syrians from the absentee prayer of Abd al-Basit al-Sarout (who was wounded by the Damascus forces and transferred to Turkey for treatment. Although his injury was not severe, he died in mysterious circumstances at the Al-Fatih Mosque in Istanbul, who confirmed that the so-called negotiating committee had become rejected by the Syrians for its dependence on foreign countries such as Russia. Before that, he was expelled from al-Bab occupied by Turkey, and was called Shabih.

In one of the demonstrations in Al-Bab in 2020, the demonstrators raised slogans and banners reading “Do we negotiate over the blood of our martyrs”, and in another, “The Merchants of the Committee does not represent the revolutionaries.”

‘Trading in revolution’

Since Nasr al-Hariri took over the Negotiations Committee in 2017, the name of the revolution has been traded; one region after another was handed over to the Syrian government according to agreements concluded between Russia and Turkey, starting with Eastern Ghouta, Douma and Daraa, and reaching Aleppo. Getting rid of the Syrian revolution from within, happened.

‘Hariri and the Kurds’

What is known as the Coalition is considered the political and legal umbrella of the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation state who occupied Afrin on March 18, 2018, and Girê Spî and Serêkaniyê in October 2019. They abused, stole, looted and committed the most heinous crimes against them. The Syrian people in general, and the people of North and East Syria in particular. It is that coalition that includes the Kurdish National Council.

The Coalition, which dubbed the Syrian Democratic Forces as a “terrorist”, and asked the Global Coalition to stop support for it during its campaigns against ISIS mercenaries supported by Turkey.

In November of 2017, during the conclusion of hand overing deals of the Syrian regions between Turkey and Russia, covered by the Syrian coalition, al-Hariri called for the GC forces to stop his support for the SDF that were fighting ISIS mercenaries in the countryside od Deir Ezzor.

So far, Nasr Hariri has not recognized the rights of the Kurds, despite the presence of what is known as the Kurdish National Council in the coalition, which has not yet been allowed to open offices for it in the areas occupied by Turkey.

‘Members of the Council are our employees’

his last statement of Nasr Hariri, shows his position on the issue and the Kurdish people, as he tweeted in February,: “We will not accept the Kurdish in the Syrian constitution, and recognition as some Kurdish parties believe, rather the presence of some Kurdish figures in the coalition are our employees and serve Syria, and they have nothing to do with Kurdish political rights. ”

Today, Hariri is in the hospitality of the Kurdistan Democratic Party – Iraq, and from the dome of his parliament launches threats against the Kurdistan Freedom Movement. He declares that Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî are areas liberated from “terrorism” and strengthens his presence with the Syrian Kurdish National Council, describing the forces that have struggled and clarified for the sake of security and stability in the regions of northern and eastern Syria with “terrorist”, and his speech against the Kurds did not differ from Erdogan’s, as he spoke Arabic and his teacher was Turkish.
