Frauke Steffens porträtiert für die FAZ den Journalisten Charles Blow, der die Schwarzen Amerikas in seinem Buch “The Devil You Know” aufruft, massenhaft in die Südstaaten zu ziehen, um dort die Mehrheit zu bilden und so endlich die Diskriminierungsverhältnisse zu ändern. “Die Lösung der strukturellen Probleme bestehe nicht darin, sich zu deren Bedingungen gut mit den Weißen zu arrangieren.

Ebenso gut könnten ja auch Weiße die Minderheit in manchen Orten bilden.” Tatsächlich, so Steffens, gibt es einen demografischen Trend Richtung Süden.
