The conference was held after holding 13 dialogue seminars in the Autonomous Administration regions, in which more than 300 party, independent political and clan personalities, intellectuals, and representatives of civil society institutions from Al-Jazeera and the Euphrates regions participated only, in addition to the participation of a group of Syrian opposition political figures abroad through remote video technology.

He added: “Among Syrians of all political affiliations, there are many common denominators that they must support, and like other societies, there are differences among them that can be resolved through serious direct dialogue.”

Qalaji explained the importance of this conference saying: “The importance of such conferences is to strengthen joint ties among Syrians, discuss the problems they face and develop appropriate solutions to them.”

He stressed that he expected positive results for the conference and added: “We participated in the Rumailan dialogue conference and the Ain Issa first and second conferences, and the results of the three conferences were very positive, especially in terms of the issues raised, especially that the interlocutors’ first and last concern was the national interests of all Syrians.”

At the end of his statement, the Secretary-General of the Syrian Change and Renaissance Party, Mostafa Qalaji, called on all Syrian parties to take such a step mainly in the dialogue, and said: “I repeat that less is better than nothing, and this activity is to draw all Syrian political and societal forces.”
